Thomas H. Whiteley
Manager of Critical Services
Tom joined the GMS team in March of 2006. His responsibilities include project development, design-build, account management, and heading the service-operations unit.
He comes from York International Corporation, from which he brings 16 years of industry experience. Tom was successful as a service sales engineer and strategic account manager, and he was responsible for strategic accounts on a national basis. Prior to his time at York, Tom worked for HRE, Inc., developing construction and service projects as a service sales engineer.
Tom received his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College in 1989. An outstanding athlete, he was elected captain of the men’s lacrosse team his senior year. He ended his playing days as the single-season and career record holder in assists.
In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time at his Annapolis home with his wife Kareen and daughters Ashley and Alexandra. An avid outdoorsman, Tom can often be found on the golf course when not fishing or hunting. |
