- The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors “R” Certificate Program – GMS holds the Certificate of Authorization and “R” symbol stamp for the repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure-retaining items. - Medical Gas Certification – Installation of piping in medical gas systems is governed by requirements included in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 99) Standard for Health Care Facilities. For more information, please visit the National Fire Protection Association Website
- Backflow Certification – This certification is approved by the Maryland State Board of Plumbing and the Washington Sanitary Commission.
- Welding Qualification – Testing standards exceed the National Certified Pipe Welders Bureau specifications and are certified by Hartford Steam Boiler through GMS’ membership in a local association. For more information, please visit the National Certified Pipe Welders Bureau Website
- CFC Freon Recovery / EPA Compliance – This CFC plan is approved as a Technician Certificate Program under 608 of the Clean Air Act by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
- Standard First Aid Certification – Basic first aid for helping in an emergency situation
- CPR Certification – Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
